Snowpure Organics owns and runs a dairy farm, nestled in the Himalayan foothill of Poanta Sahib in Himachal Pradesh. A unique start up that aims to provide fresh and pure dairy products to the doorsteps of its consumers. Retailing online and through select high quality FMCG outlets, Snowpure produces milk that comes from grass fed cows. It manufactures small batches of pure ghee made from 100% traceable milk, following the Bilona method that, though traditional, remains untouched by hand. The farm also produces curd and white butter. 

With a vision to create synergy between international management expertise and the rooted rural economy of India, SnowPure aspires to establish an environmentally friendly, replicable, scalable, and economically sustainable dairy business focused on ghee production. This setup aims to enhance the development goals of India’s rural economy, fostering employment and economic empowerment at the grassroots level.

Snowpure Dairy Farm was founded by four global Indians who shared a dream of creating a startup that was rooted in the soil and soul of India. They stumbled upon this farm that was up for sale and fell in love with its pristine environment and its existing practice of creating pure dairy products. Alumnus of IIT and IIM these accomplished professionals, backed by their management prowess managed to create an enterprise that not just produces trustworthy dairy products but also offers employment to the trained youth of Paonta Sahib.
